![]() The legendary AF DC-Nikkor 135mm f/2D. Few know about this lens, let alone what it does. Many ... many people has dismissed this lens to be a novelty lens and it is designed for soft focussing - I say they truly do not know what they are talking about - Only the true connaissaur will appreciate this lens which is still in production the 1995 model till now. So what does this lens do? This lens gives you the ability to control your bokeh front or behind the subject - keeping the aperture at your preference! Thus, you are truly controlling the bokeh and not controlling the bokeh through the aperture. This unique feature can only be found in the 105 f2 DC and the 135 f2 DC - No other brands can match this or have an equivalent to this lens. In addition to this unique feature, the 135 f2 DC is a razor sharp lens from wide open to stop down all the way! The focus plane is so thin that the tiniest movement will cause motion blur. An unforgiving lens, yes - but when you know how to operate this lens - you know that this lens has earned his rights and is deserved to be in the hall of fame as the epic AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED.
