![]() In the heydays of film photography - The use of filters are a necessity, it is as simple as that, a fact of life. Fast forward - In the digital age, do we still need to make use of filters? Of course not, we do not need, however, it will make your life much easier and saves you a great deal of time in post production. Linear or Circular Polarizing filters (CPL): The WOW-factor in a photo. TIP: Just for the sake of simplicity; go with the Circular Polarizing filters, you cannot go wrong here, linear are for the old film fanatics like me. Neutral density filters (ND): a must for landscape, firework, and other long exposure photography. TIP: buy at least and higher ND8X or invest in a variable ND filters. UV filters (UV): Prevents haze but doubles as a front element protector against dirt, mud, salt, rain etc. TIP: Don't be a cheapskate here; buy HOYA! ;-) Reageren is niet langer mogelijk.
